New bookmarks from Antioch!!

Quite a variety of new bookmarks out from Antioch that will be out soon or already (I really wish I had a book store nearby to say for sure). I think that they are only available in the larger sizes at this time.

Bookmarks being discontinued

 

These bookmarks are being discontinued. I know that I posted the Winnie the Pooh. I found it and the others pictured still available on Poster Revolution (also provided the images, no copyright infringement intended). It's possible that the other bookmarks related to them might be discontinued as well.

Its the season for making wish lists. I know we did this when we started, but I want to do it again since I got a few from mine. What is everyone's bookmark wish list? What ones would you just love to have? Here is my list of the ones that got away, or were gone before I knew about them, or vintage. I love reading wish lists! And you never know, someone might know how to get one!

UPDATES!!
A lot of new updates and updates to be done. First Garfield now has a page to himself! With that many bookmarks it just makes it easier to give him a page. Since I don't have access to the backs of the bookmarks or don't know when they were printed there isn't really any order other than alphabetical. They are broken up into groups of ten to fifteen, with the pictures after each set. This way it will be easier to see what the bookmark looks like and which titles is referring to which bookmark. I mostly put down the quote from each bookmark, however, please take note that some of the pictures are small and I can't quite make out what they say.

ORGANIZATION UPDATE:
Okay so I am trying to get a better organization. The more I update the more I come across gaps and overlaps. I have merged Books made into Movie with Movies, and tossed Celebs at the bottom. They are all movies who am I kidding combining it just make it easier. I will probably to some re-working with others sections too. Comic to Children's sections are still causing me problems. I am thinking Comic & Cartoon........... Fairy Tales, Princesses & Stories.............. Animation, puppets, & Other  Do those three sound good?
They would kinda go like.
Comic & Cartoon: Looney Tunes, Peanuts, Ziggy, Tom&Jerry, TMNT, flintstones, etc.

2nd Hobbit movie bookmark

Check it out here! Smaug's Castle for the second Hobbit movie on Antioch! It looks like the posters, but I am sure there is more to come. I have also seen a set of 6 magnetic bookmarks for the second film too. I can't find them available anywhere online yet, but I am sure we will start to find them soon!

HUGE GARFIELD UPDATE!!!

I GOT YOU GARFIELD!!!! It took all freakin day, but I got you!!! Not pictures yet, that will probably take another day. I am not thinking about there being more out there at the moment just my victory! Pictures might take a while, sorry I need a break. It was a long day and there is a handful I need to come up with names for. Didn't have any writing on them. Comics might need to get there own page...

Catching Fire bookmarks out!

New Catching Fire movie bookmarks. Three so far Katniss, Katniss & Peeta, and Katniss & Peeta & Finnik. I don't know where they are available yet. I can't seem to find them online. I wish I had book stores around me!

Here is another new Avengers bookmark. I think it pretty sweet! It has the cartoon style rather than movie images.

Some New Bookmarks!

I was browsing Barnes and Noble and saw two new Wizard of Oz bookmarks. Dorothy and Glinda each are tasseled and come in a pack with pens (that seems to be the new thing with pens, I really never end up using them because they are so funky shaped!) Check them out HERE!

 

Antioch Publishing is also out with so new ones! Check them out! I am pretty excited for all of them really! I never thought they would make Parks and Recreation, but it made me laugh! Pixar always puts a smile on my face. Thor, OH YEAH! I say that about all the superheroes!

Winnie the Pooh 100 Acre Wood NO LONGER IN PRINT!!!

 

The 100 Acre Wood bookmark is no longer in print! So get yours while you still can! They are in limited stock of several websites. Check Poster Revolution, Amazon, Ebay, and any other you can think of.

It comes with stickers and a small fold out map of the 100 acre wood. This is one of those that you has gentle pull the front and back off and you get two bookmarks (they look the same).

Okay THATS DONE! Well at leas t for now. I realize I still have some organizing to do on many pages. I am slowly working to make the organization better. I thought it would also be a good time to throw in here Submitting bookmark pictures.

   Leave a comment for me (so I know it's coming) and I will give the e-mail address to send the picture to. If you are taking the picture PLEASE try and have it straight up and down (vertical) OR side-to-side (horizontal). Many pictures of bookmarks are tilted and it makes it hard for me to fit them together, and it takes up more space. If it's just a picture you found, I will accept it anyway. One picture is better then none. Solid colored background (any color, just try and let the bookmark show up) is preferred, but not required. So you see it's pretty simple. I don't ask a lot.

The Harry Potter BKs just never end.....

It seems like every time I think I have them all and have them posted with pictures another pops up like a weed! Say hello to yet another Harry Potter bookmark! They are getting a little crowded so I will try to deal with that. At least separate the movies. It should make the pictures bigger too. I will also be working on the Garfield section. It is pretty big, I might give it it's own section or break up a page. We will see.

Found some more Babylon 5 bookmarks. More tasseled ones and I found there are die-cut ones.

Updates

 Sci-Fi page: I updated the X files section with the pictures from Julie. I also found another cut out. I put up some vintage Doctor Who bookmarks.
  Harry Potter: I added another one with the possibility of another. They just keep on coming! I don't know whether to be happy for sad about that. Also pictures of die-cut House banners.

  Comics books: some bookmarks that come in the collectors hard cover books. Still looking for one picture.
  Cartoons and Children's characters: Found some more for the Simpsons and Winnie the Pooh while browsing on Barnes and Noble. Hello Kitty metal bookmarks have been found. Some die cut Curious George.

 The Hobbit: Found some and it looks like there is one for each of the dwarves. I still have to confirm, but I have seem at least 3 or 4 dwarves. Also need to find out if Elrond and the other wizards have bookmarks. I would assume since Galadriel and the other dwarves are in there.

Posting an attachment

Anyone know how to post an attachment on here? I can't seem to find where it's located or if it's even available. I would like to make check lists for the collections sometime and would like to be able to share.

I was thinking, why aren't there any bookmarks for the new Star Trek movies??? There are for all the other shows and at least two of the movies! Star Wars is still getting new bookmarks. Why not Trek??! I realize that it could be a whole different ball game from the old to new, but wasn't it the same from TV show to TV show? The handmade ones are cool and all, but I like to collect the official ones (not to say that I have tried to make some myself or am still trying). Besides some of the handmade ones have just too many pictures. Less is more sometimes. I like a plain and simple portrait. And the tassels! Even though they can fall apart pretty easy sometimes, I like their look better, fuller.

X-Files set

Here is a picture of the X-files set. It arrived really fast, I didn't expect it to come so quick. Also I got this Breakfast at Tiffany's bookmark. It's standard size, metal, and German. I thought it was pretty cool that it was normal size.

Chesire Cat is official!

I am happy to announce that the speculation over the Alice In Wonderland Chesire Cat bookmark is official! Mine arrived today and I can confirm the copy right printed on the back! Took some pictures. The misty image at the top is a tea cup. Hurray! for new discoveries!

I just joined SWAT (Star Wars Action Team). It's a reward site for Star Wars books. You complete tasks and get points which can be redeemed for rewards. They have all three Crucible and a full set of Scoundrels (or single) bookmarks. There are easy tasks like, post a link on Facebook of an excerpt for a Star Wars book (for 50 points). Others can get you more points. A review of a Star Wars book posted on a social site can be a lot (500 points). Check it out! I am saving up for my Scoundrels set! Single bookmarks are 300 points each and the Scoundrel full set is 2,000. There is one task make 5 crafts from the Star Wars Craft book for 5,000 points. That has my name all over it. I just need to hit the library and check the book out!
