tassel beads

Well I have posted about all of the bookmarks I know of. Now I thought I might keep track of what bookmarks come with what beads. Some of the tassel beads are special, so I thought I would be good to keep track of them. I won't keep track of just the beads, only special ones like the One Ring for Lord of the Rings, which is sort of where it started. I hope I get them all correct. At first I would remove the bead from the tassel because it would hit agents the book I was reading, now I don't remove them.
KEEP IN MIND! Sometimes different printings come with different beads. Sometimes the earlier printings would have a special bead, but the later ones would just have regulated colored beads.
If you want to know the following sections are the bookmarks (I know of) with beads.
Lord of the Rings
Star Wars Episode 2 (mostly)
Harry Potter
Golden Compass
Narnia
Disney (mainly some of the princesses)

UPDATE: I just noticed that some of the pages were nearly blank. Must have been a problem converting them from posts to pages. I corrected Harry Potter and Narnia. I will check the other pages for any problems.

NEW DOCTOR WHO BOOKMARKS!!!

For Doctor Who fans out there I just saw on Amazon.com two new doctor who bookmarks. One of the Tardis Exploding and the other of a the Doctor's generations. There aren't that many in stock at the moment.

I don't know what bookstores would carry this. In the past several years all the bookstores in my area have closed, so my main source for getting bookmarks is online.

 

Garfield and I Love Lucy

I just finished adding a ton of vintage Garfield. I bet there are more, but at least it's a start to the section (under cartoons, comics, and children's characters). I also added a few I Love Lucy bookmarks (under TV). I can't say know how many there are, I just know of those few from searches for other bookmarks.

   I have now moved bookmark sections onto their on page, which are listed along the right side of the page. I have been added more bookmarks and pictures to each section and will continue to do so. Some sections might seem scarce because that is a fandom I might not be all that familiar with. I am trying to get all the bookmarks I know of up, but my knowledge is limited. Especially with anime, I know there are lots in this category, but I honestly don't know the difference. So it's in places like that I will need help.
  I feel I need to explain the sections a bit. Lord of the Rings is a book made into a movie, but since there are so many of bookmakers I gave it it's own section. However with Eragon and Golden compass; however, don't have as many bookmarks so I combined them into the Fantasy section. I know the X-files could fall into both Sci-fi and TV, but since it's a cult classic I decided to put it in Sci-Fi. Sorry if this is confusing! I am still ironing out the wrinkles.

Sci-Fi and Narnia

Added Sci-fi! In it are Doctor Who, X-files, and Babylon 5 (but more to come with that one). I also put up a Narnia page.

Fantasy: Eragon, G-Compass, Harry potter and Twilight

Fantasy section added! It includes (for now!) Eragon movie & book, and the Golden compass movie bookmarks. I don't think there are any for the book...?

Harry Potter is a big section added as well as Twilight. Had to give it it's own page because there are just so many of them!

Superheros, Disney, and Pixar

HUGE add today. DC and Marvel comics! New and vintage! Disney and Pixar is a big section to check out! And as always more to come!

I added some Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit to start with. Each have their own page considering the amount of bookmarks. More pictures to come and lists later.

Welcome to the start of Bookmark Archives!
I collect bookmarks and couldn't find a place to see lists or references. I thought I would make a place where pictures could be shared and lists of complete collections can be found. It will take time, but I will put up lists of bookmarks I know and as many pictures as I can get my hands on.

I remember my first bookmark. I got Princess Leia from Star Wars at a Little Professor bookstore. Little Professors are all gone now, but I haven't stopped collecting bookmarks. Needless to say I was also crushed when Borders closed!

All posts are a work in progress. I am going to continue to be updating them. If you know of any bookmark I missed, forgotten, or just plain don't know about, PLEASE COMMENT! That is the whole point of this. I also welcome pictures of the bookmarks if they are available.
Please introduce yourselves or if you want me to start working on a bookmark section just comment!
Also I am focusing of officially printed bookmarks. There are a lot of homemade bookmarks that are amazing, but I just can't keep track of those.

I am currently trying to get permission to use bookmark images from Trends international, but I have a link to their site in the mean time along the side.
